Doing a movie on Sri Ramadasu was initiated by M M keeravani and he approched KRR with his idea.

After Ninne Pelladutha,NAG did Annamayya.After Super NAG is doing another devotional epic "Sri Ramadasu".Both Ninne Pelladutha and Super were produced by Annapurna Studios.And for both these movies music scored by Sandeep Chowta

For Annamayya Producer is V Doraswami Raju and for Sri Ramadasu producer is Konda Krishnam Raju.Both their names ends up with "Raju".

Annamyya audio till date did a business of around Rs 10 Crores,where as Sri Ramdasu audio already done a business around Rs 5 Crores.

All the unit members wrote "Rama Koti" during the shoot of this movie
